What began on World Environment Day with the planting of tiny seeds has now come full circle. After weeks of caring for their school garden, our learners proudly harvested fresh spinach that they had helped grow.
From planting and watering to watching the plants grow, every step gave our students an opportunity to learn through experience. They discovered the importance of teamwork, responsibility, patience, and caring for our environment.
The best part? The journey ended around the table, where our learners enjoyed a healthy meal made with the spinach they had grown themselves.
This simple experience reminded us that sustainability starts with small steps. By connecting our learners with nature and showing them where food comes from, we are helping them build healthy habits and a greater appreciation for the world around them.
